The Trio will play the music from "Hurtling Between” – an album that situates deeply connected improvisers from three generations inside a lineage that stretches from the mid-1960s to the present moment. The album’s title reflects the trio’s fluency in moving between pulse and abstraction, structure and spontaneity, both central to Altschul’s legacy and still vital in contemporary practice.
This performance will be one of the final shows in this historic space before the building is turned over to a new owner and the School moves to new premises.
